Female finch breeding alone?

Is it unusual for my female finch to sit and breed on her eggs alone? i have 2 males and 2 females but shes sitting on the eggs alone and chases all the other finches away

What finches do you have? Many breeds of finches the females will do most of the brooding in the nest.

She might not like either male, and has decided she doesn't trust them around her eggs.

It also depends on the birds. In canaries, sometimes the female will feed alone; sometimes it will be both the male and female.

i have gouldians she has been sitting 10days and doesnt allow them close by i guess she will do the feeding alone aswell then
