Sexing society's finches is easy

Post by Fraza » Sun Aug 06, 2017 2:56 pm

Way to tell if a society's/bengalease finch is a boy
-It will sing and dance
-It's tweet will be short and only happen once not long for example a dogs bark is short one sound compare to a cat purring that's long sound.females sound like pre pre pre male is tweet, once not like pre
-line in between the top and bottom of beak should be strait

Way to tell if a society's/bengalease finch is a girl
-It will not sing and dance
-Its beak wil have a slight bend/curve in it
It's tweet will sound like pre pre pre

Fraza

Yes, male Society Finches will sing and dance, puffing themselves into little feathered pear shapes.

Females however do not sing or dance. They sound like chirping crickets.
