Yes but my bengalease has never had egg bound and she always does this when I come near her when she's near her nest or eggs

And yes she does that on the video aswell then once the chicks hatch she allows me to hold her for some strange reason up until they are full birds then she won't allow me to as mich

The hen being discussed sounds like she had an issue with egg binding. She did finally pass an egg. Egg binding can be painful for the hen putting pressure on internal organs and spine causing the hen to open mouth breathe or pant in distress.

hens can become egg bound for several reasons... if the clutches are to many back to back with no rest period (6 months) to regain reserves hens can become egg bound.... if the egg is to large, if it is soft shelled, if the muscles become to weak to push the egg out, if there is an infection or disease hens can become egg bound, not enough proper nutrition, calcium in the diet... (cuttlebone is not enough in some cases).

Okay thanks I will consider everything you've said my birds exercise twice a day out of there cage and have egg veg and fruit mixed throughout the week but I think it might be the time apart she is breeding like you have said as I didn't leave her 6 months it was more like 1

if your hen is in the middle of laying eggs or incubating you should not be letting her out to exercise... she needs to concentrate on incubating and not letting eggs get cold.

you really should be leaving both in to tend to the eggs and later the babies... that should be their main focus, incubation and the young.
