I am looking for your advice. I have male Red Cheeked Blue-Cordon and planning to buy European Goldfinches pair or only female. can they live together ? considering that I allow him to fly in the house for hours daily. I know that he can live with Gouldian finches but still not available for sell in my city.
Thank you
Nada

hi. i dont know much about gordon blues but i know they get territorial when breeding.
About the european goldfinch will require a diferent mix of seeds. even though a finch he doesnt have the same diet as most finches. he requires a quality canary mix with additional oily seeds.
the other problem is that the e.g. is very territorial, especially when breeding season comes and will fight for his food aswell.
The male of e.g. needs a separate cage with a decent size if you want to enjoy their song. when kept with other birds, even in colony with other e.g. they dont really do well.
