If you boiled the egg for about ten minutes, then the shell is already boiled. After you remove the shell, let it dry completely and then crush it with a small glass measuring cup or whatever works for you so that it is finely crushed.

For eggshells do you just boil those in water to kill off any pathogens then dry and crumble? I offered cantaloupe today and think they finally ate some.
Yes you need to boil them to kill any bacteria. They can eat boiled eggs too, but it has to be hard-boiled. No runny yolks!
