My Canaries are very active

My society finches aren't very active much of the time, just occasionally.

I read waxbills were active little birds.

I'm especially interested in Gold Breasted waxbills

Would they be ok with canary and society?

Are the active like zebra finches?

Are they aggressive?

Hard to find waxbills in my area but need some information first before look

How noisy are waxbills vs society or zebra finches?

Most waxbills are not noisy at all, though some have pretty songs.

Goldbreasted waxbills are very quiet, not aggressive, and they are also very active. They get along with everyone. I have no experience keeping waxbills with canaries.

The biggest problem with Goldbreasted waxbills has to do with their size. If you don't have a secure enough cage, they can slip easily through the bars and escape. I never had a problem keeping them in cages with 1" x 1/2" spacing on the wire.

This is an absolutely delightful species, you will love them if you can find them.
