Cute lizards!

Misty, I had the same thought about the little poison arrow frogs (so colorful and small) and a tiny but bright milk snake -- why didn't my son like those? (But -- he's not an 'animal person' like I am).

I love your story about your conversation with your husband. And, I think you're right, Domenic, men sure do know how to de-rail us, it's not just a one way street!

Just a quick note...the pics of the lizards are not mine. Merely an example of what I had. My pictures are in tupperware packed away.

yes i agree it is montane or yellow white eyes....

now the one thing that was odd to me is you said they were huddled? at the bottom? thats very unlike the white eyes!

i love these little birds... me and a friend here in town work on these together!

and i am proud to state that (as far as documented) i am the only one so far that has gotten the recently imported montanes to breed!

i can not wait to set them up again when it warms up as well!

And when you set these up please post pictures!

Chase, the fair was outside in November here, it was chilly out. Some of the very delicate finches were not even unloaded from the van until it warmed up. The man that had these came a long way...there were no perches in the cage (not sure why or if he just unloaded them from the van and had not put them in yet). Perhaps they were huddled because of the coolness of the air.
