Congrats on the baby--that is awesome! I don't think I've seen this species except in photos.

thanks all , the little one is still alive but alone , the other two eggs didn't hatch last night / today , so i guess the baby will be alone in the nest .... gotta prepare the band already ( make it dark and slide a thin tube over it , otherwise the parents will throw it outa the nest with the baby ... sorry i didn't make any pics , don't want to disturb them !! YET :-)

This is why my hubby says we will never make a dime  I took that pair to one more show, but by then I was allready attached to the pair I had kept.. Needless to say I now have two & looking for more for myself :D ... I have had both the Great & Blue tit, and while both are cool & the blue is a really pretty bird, these Bearded have so much pesonality you can't help but love them... Ah, $$$ isn't everything.. lol

As long as you don't forget about me with the great Gouldians.. If I can get some babies I see a trade in our future :D ... BTW, not sure if I had mentioned, I got my first clutch from those I got from you... They fed out the babies like champs and they are just over a year old.. Good stock
