Sorry Ray :( I am sure spring will bring better results. At least you know you have a nice bonded, fertile pair.

i love the look of your breeding cages.... i am planning on redoing my backwall in box type cages like that...

i know it will cut down on the number of cages i can have... but i think it will be worth it...

That is a beautiful bird! I was so confused... I got the bearded titts and the bearded barbet mixed up....this whole time I had this bird in mind #-o

These are the ones I saw that Jan had and just loved the crazy looking birds... I must say Ray, yours are more beautiful but there is something about the barbets that I am drawn to. I bet they have really ugly chicks  Do you still have these Jan??

Tampa is a good 9 hour drive for me... a little far for a cup of coffee :? There are some members down that way, Cindy and Bill that I know of. Would love to chat birds with you some day, enjoy your trip and Mexico too!!!

Yep, both the Bearded Barbets & the Bearded Tit's call Texas Pride their home these days, LOL... I haven't figured out how to get them darn Barbets in a nest yet but who cares, they are cool & they make me laugh.. I think one of my pair of tits that are in my Aussie flight have set up a nest & I'm watching them close [-o< ....
