Re: first young bearded tit :-)
secon update today ... i just checked before its getting to dark .. well there's 4 babies in the nest !!!
the parents are not agressive towards the first young ones at all , they mostley just follow mom or dad to see /learn how to find food ... and this is sooooo nice to see , they are really clowns , hanging upside down on branches and running around the bamboo like little rockets hunting insects ... these birds are for sure my most favorite specie i ever had
sexing the young ones is possible someone wrote on the net , had to do with the beak color ... forgot what it was ... sorry !!

Re: first young bearded tit :-)
i think he is to much on the nest , he should spend more time on finding food for the babies .... he goes out for like 30 secs checking for insects and goes back in with only one or two little worms .. and thats not enough !!! we only can hope ....

Re: first young bearded tit :-)
That is one big mouth on such a tiny chick...no wonder it takes so many mealies to fill him up I'm so thrilled to hear that Pops is taking such good care..... keep the progress/photos coming.
