That Bearded Tit is gorgeous! Is it a small bird?

I've been doing a bit of checking on the Bearded Tit which is actually not a true Tit bird. It is about Sparrow size and is rare in the UK. It lives among the reeds and eat reed seeds in winter and aphids off the reeds and top of the water in summer. It actually weighs less then our Gouldian finches at only 15grams although I believe it is a fair bit larger.

Ray, what kind of environment are you going to provide for this beautiful bird. I'd love to have one but I cannot provide the right environment. I certainly wish you the best with this bird as I think it is truely stunning in appearance :!:

That bird is awesome! It can get along with finches? I'm totally shocked.

Your aviary should provide a wonderful setting for this bird--yes, you can auction off the babies!
