Re: Question for Chase re Cuban Finches
I've put the divider in the cage today as I expect the clutch to hatch tomorrow or soon after. I first noticed the hen missing (ie spending time in the nest) on March 2nd.

Re: Question for Chase re Cuban Finches
My Cubans built their own nest on top of the un-used wicker and into/through the cage bars and I cannot remove it without destroying it.
I love that yours was attached to the cage from the outside! I'll pick up one of those this coming week. I saw them as a petstore but figured they were for canaries only until I saw yours. After this clutch, I'll remove the nest and the un-used wicker nest and put one of those on for them instead.
