hi
i kept javas for years, and they do sometimes get aggressive when they are breeding and if thier housing is too small mine did great in an aviary i bred all the colours including pieds the only colour that avoided me was blackheaded ones

Well I got them today. Two whites and Two Fawns Hopefully I will end up with one pair... Wont be breeding them until next year and May just breed em in breeding cages. We had two javas for a week years ago. They were just too territorial and stressed out are soc's way too much. Traded em in for some mules. But I must say these 4 are beautiful. Will try get pics asap.
