Finch Cage
I am hoping to get a pair of zebra finches in the future, but already have a cage for them. The cage is a cylinder shape, and measures 2 feet tall by 16 inches wide. I am hoping that this is an appropriate size, and they will be provided free flight in a safe environment if it is needed

I'll jump in quick and say the bigger the cage the better and free flight would be superb as long as your room is birdy-proofed beforehand so they won't hurt themselves by flying into things like windows or mirrors, etc.

Re: Finch Cage
Thanks for the information because I was concerned that I would need to purchase a bigger cage or my finches would be unhappy! I will do my best to birdproof the room and allow them free flight once or twice a week!

Re: Finch Cage
The problem with free-flight in the room is catching them afterwards.
