So completely shocked to hear this news. :( Bill was a great member of this forum, always positive and the first to congratulate anyone or welcome newcomers. There will be a hole in place of where his posts usually reside. RIP Bill.

The picture is not the best  so sorry :(
But, these parents were sitting on their last clutch. I went to check on the eggs on day 13 and noticed that nothing had hatched...but...there had been eggs added after the fact. [-X Sneaky little things.
They are finally raising their own, and this morning I even heard the little ones peeping. =D> So in honour of such a beautiful person, one will be named Billie, and the other Bcamp =D> =D> =D>

Thank you so very much Bill for keeping such a wonderful eye on these 2 little ones =D> =D> =D> =D>

I miss how he always encouraged new members to fill out their location in their profile.

That was the very first thing that I had thought of as well.
We will all have to share in his duties, and make sure that all of the new members receive this message.

I too thought of that and agree we should all encourage/remind newcomers of this great source of finch information.

I just saw the news on the facebook page last night. Just now seeing this thread. I barely knew Bill except for a few posts on this forum, but he seemed like such a nice person. Reading these posts in his memory got me all teared up. He obviously made a positive impact on many people. I think it's wonderful that some new baby birdies have been named in his honor. =D>

May he rest in peace. [-o<
