Merck veterinary manual

Post by monotwine » Thu Jan 05, 2012 8:49 am

I've seen mention of this site / book in a few posts so just thought I would share the link below. I find this a very useful site for looking up diseases etc. It's extensive and I'm ever so glad they have a search function.

The Merck Veterinary Manual is so packed full of great information that I am making this post into a "sticky".

Also if anyone is potentially interested - this book is EXTREMELY helpful.

There was a topic on NFSS recently regarding medication dosages, and in another thread I remember Candace also asking someone if they used the same dosage for the pigeon products as for their canaries/finches.

I think they said they do, but this book actually details out specific dosages for pigeons and canaries - if I remember correctly according to Terri also for finches.

The 4th edition has a release date of April 9th, but it is available for pre-order now. I'm ordering mine!!
