Is the flight one you have outdoors, or is it an indoor flight? What type is it? I want another, but one that is longer than 6 ft.
It is an indoor flight, but proving to be too big for the room--I am in a small house. It might be OK in the spare bedroom, if that wasn't full of cages!
Where did you buy that large of a flight cage? I would love one that large for my finch room. The largest I have is the A& E double flight, which is 64x22.
I got it on craigslist. I had seen it when I went to the guy's house to look at another cage, so when he advertised it, I jumped at it. Didn't use my head at all. #-o All I could see was this great aviary I could have. Of course, it was in a very large sunroom with a high ceiling, so didn't look so big there. My nephew helped me, we took my horse trailer to go get it. It took 3 men to get it out of the house and into my trailer, and my nephew counts as 2 men, he is strong as an ox. They barely got it out of the house.

Got it to my house, and when we measured, it wasn't going in the front door. So it sat in my horse trailer for a while. Finally got it in the door, just barely, by taking off the ball feet and part of the top. Put it in place, but all that lifting and pulling and shoving had gotten it messed up. Nothing fit square any more, and it really wasn't made that well to begin with. After all that work, and then spending more money on hardware, lumber, etc., to try to reinforce it, get the doors to close, etc., I had to admit that it really is too big in my dining room! I can't even move it easily to another room, it is too tall to go through the doorways. I would have been far better off to build one.

I will probably wind up having to tear it apart just to get it out of my house. If you want an indoor flight, use those screen doors that you can get at Lowe's. There are instructions for how to do it at the FIC.

Thanks for the information. I was considering making an indoor flight in one section of my eating area by the kitchen, which has a window that leads out to the outdoor aviary I started. Not sure how to make it all work, but still thinking.
