"Blue-violet pastel gouldian"...?

Post by Vertdemer » Wed Apr 25, 2012 10:43 pm

The son of my pied hen(RH-BH? PB SYGB/BB) and of VDM2b (RH PB/LB Seagreen (or Opaline?)/BB Dark factor(?) seems to be slightly purple on his neck, back and rump... 8)
I've took pictures with different lightning because the color changed depending of the light... His molt is not done yet but will finish soon.... :)

Isa, the ends of his feathers on his back look purple to me!

Amazingly beautiful!

Thank you for sharing and don't forget to keep us updated on this particular bird as he grows into his adult plumage.
