Zebra Finches - 2 females and 1 male - not a great equation.
I have noticed out of my 3 chicks - two have really paired off. There are two females and one male. The two females fight alot over the male - and I feel bad watching the one lonely female at night. Ha. Do you think I ought to get another male in there to balance the equation? I feel like its a bad episode of "Three's Company" - three's a crowd sometimes.

how big is the cage there in? if there is plenty of room it should be okay to get another male. if there isnt enough room and you get a male the 2 pairs will constantly be chasing each other around fighting. its always good to have 1 pair or 3 or more pairs. but make sure there is enough room.
