Bronze-winged mannikins
Does anyone own bronze mannikins? I supposedly have a male and female pair. i think for the first time today i saw one singing very lightly because it was standing tall and singing with its head tilted up a little. But mostly they do little chirping sounds back and forth. They look alike to me and there very bonded they follow each other everywhere and eat together and there constantly going in there nest but no eggs.

Are these some of your new birds? They will take a while to settle in. I have a Bronze-winged Mannikin male along with his two BWM/Society babies. He is pretty active and gets along with everyone in a community flight. However, when I first put them in the flight, he took an instant dislike to a juvie male Society--they hated each other on sight. I had to put the divider in the flight till I decided to relocate the juvie Society--no more problems.
