All hale Caesar! (pics)
All hale Caesar (African Grey Congo) , he has a new empire to rule!
We were told he is 14, but looking at his band ( the best we could) . He might younger.
I am his 3rd owner and he isn't going anywhere from here.
So far he makes video game noises, like he is shooting asteroids. Says "What you doing?", "Whats wrong" and give kissy noises. AND a couple of real loud horn noises, LOL hubby hopes he will quit that one soon. LOL
He bites but hardly any pressure. Steps up pretty good too. We don't know if he is a she or not, but we don't care
This our first night together.I'm sure we have a lot to learn about each other♥

Re: All hale Caesar! (pics)
hello missedie, we have had an African gray for about sixteen years now, and if I could only have one parrot, it would be an African grey.
they are so much fun to be around, and he talks to my wife and I all day long--he likes apples and carrots and once in awhile peanut butter toast--but never give him any apple seeds, for they are poisonous to birds, he also loves potatoes and pasta (esp. dry pasta)-my wife usually lets him out of his cage for a couple of hours a day--but he must be watched because African greys are always so curious and tend to get into things when they are not watched--they become one of the family after awhile--I noticed that your bird seems to have nice feather, which is good for African greys, because they can be feather pickers if they feel stressed--my wife and I went away once for a week and when we returned our bird had become a feather picker and no matter what we tried he never got back to normal featherwise, but in all other respects he has grown into the most wonderful pet, they are a wonderful companion bird, and I hope that there will always be breeders, so that they will always be available.

2 society, 2 zebra, 2 spice, 2 lady gouldians, and one very much loved african grey who i converse with much.
It is a very wonderful thing indeed, when you become friends with those that wear feathers and eat seed.

Congratulations and best of luck!
They are fun birds, my sister has a female that says lots of things she probably shouldn't and beeps like a smoke detector does when the batteries are dead ALL the time.
