I CAN'T WAIT FOR MY NEW FINCHES!

Post by finchmix22 » Fri Dec 20, 2013 5:40 pm

Well, my Christmas present to myself is buying two pair of Peales from Rich. I am very excited and having so much fun getting everything set up for the new parrot finches. =D> =D> The first pair's names are "Fiji" for the male and "Rainbow" for the female. The second pair's names are "Diego" for the male and "Pelli" for the female. After their quarantine, I'll set them up for breeding, which may lead to spring hatchlings, I pray! [-o< [-o< .
They arrive Monday evening!
Once they settle in, I'll post pics.

Deborah,
This is fun and exciting! I don't know a lot about very many different finches so I am looking forward to seeing what peales look like.

While you are waiting....I see you have several green singers. How do you house them? All together? Separate cages?
Right now I have three cages for 5 GS and sometimes I wonder if I couldn't have them all together.
If you or anyone else has any wisdom, I would like to hear it.
Thanks!
Melissa
