I'm located in Sydney Australia and my season started a few months ago and now that everything has paired off I am left with a spare breeding cabinet (only own 2) I currently only breed gouldians, st helenas, strawberries and blue-faced parrot finches. I'm pretty keen on trying a new species that isn't a Zeb or Bengalese (more because I have bred them in the past rather than not liking them) and have found it very hard to find a list of finches that can be bred well in cabinets. I was hoping that some of you guys could supply a list of what finches would be suitable to be separated for the breeding season and then let back into an aviary for the offseason. I'm leaning towards ribbon finches but have heard the need privacy in order to breed. Thanks
