sandri_90 -- *sigh* I love looking at your photos, Sandri!
You really capture their personalities beautifully! (Which is difficult, as finches don't have the super outgoing personalities that many of the larger birds have.)

I have a nice SLR camera, but it's an old school film camera rather than digital. I'd love to get a digital one and start taking photos again! (Though my new iPhone generates photos that are shockingly good for a phone!)

Added: Oh. My. Goodness. You're incredible! I just looked at your facebook photos?
Words escape me. Simply beautiful.
Humum to....
13 Zebra Finches....and 2 squeeps!
3 Society Finches
6 Gouldians
1 Weaver
1 Pintail Whydah
2 Cockatiels
2 Parakeets

....along with 1 MinPin, 1 Pug, 1 JRT, 1 Yorkie, 2 Chihuahuas and 15 cats.

Oh, thank you for the kind words :D
Nowadays phones take great pictures, I must say!

I must be getting annoying, but I have no one else to share my passion with...
So here they are again

Sandri, You're absolutely not annoying! I look forward to your pictures. I only wish I had your talent. They make me laugh...the antics. I really think you should look into getting them...and I don't even know how to say this, published. Here in America there are Bird magazines, Finch care books, etc.. You really should look into ways they can be used in advertisement...even in America. Just make sure any picture you present is water marked so it's not stolen. That happens a lot. Justino222 I want a canary but I want one without a toupee!

Corkysgirl I watermark my other pictures, but these are just for fun. :D I had some of my other photos published in a British magazine and on some websites. But getting them in zebra books and websites is very good idea! I will look into it, thanks!

By the way, zebras are little thieves.

"Whatcha got there, egg?
Well, it's mine now!"

One of the sisters was looking at her brother, who had a piece of egg in his beak, and just took it... just like that, no effort
The look on his face was priceless!

That's cute! I have had mine do that...steal eggs right out of their sibling's mouth.
I think your pictures would be great on the cover of some books. They're really good!
Yes, for private use...like sharing here, watermarking is not an issue. Also, Google photo contests. I haven't seen any...nor have I looked but I did see one last year for European photos that would earn $500. I posted it on my face book page because about half of my 881 friends are from Europe. I'll keep my eyes opened also.
