Wow.. Wish I had the room in my back yard for something like that, but the weather here could be a problem. Hope you've met or talked with the finchers from OZ. I'm sure they would have a lot of pointers for ya.. They are good people..

Keep the pics coming..
2 polydactyl Snowflake felines and a new Panther non-poly feline.. Working on building the bloodline of the local Fawn Owls.

UPDATE.

ROOF is now on. and also one panel of the right wall. the last panel is for the door. so we will be screwing the last sheet on. then we will draw the door frame on the sheet metal. take the sheet metal off the aviary and proceed to cut the door out.

Image

We Then got the Water Tap Moved which was behind the aviary. not allowing us to move it back into place. so now i just need to move the roll of hose and we can proceed to move it into place.

Image

Once in place and level we can start on the floor.

Great progress. Do you have the birds already waiting to go in or will you buy them after the aviary is finished?

I Have all my Birds in my other Aviary, besides 3 which i just brought, so they are in quarantine. I Will be Putting 3 Pair's of Yellow Headed Gouldians in this Aviary. In my Avairy i already have built. will house 3 pairs of Red Heads and in my Newly Accuried Breeding Cabinet i will House 2 Pairs of Black Heads, whist it is breeding season.

starting to look ready for the birds, very well done.
that hanging plant holder in the pic "aviary in it's current state" would be perfect for holding nesting materials. minus the plant of course. wonder if your mum would notice
Addicted to Finches, yes I do admit it.
I pray they never find a cure.
