What pretty birds. How do you find the time to take such good care off your flock?

lovezebs Beautiful birds. Did i see a shaftail in there? I love the little fledges, nothing like feldges to put a smile on your face (well in your and my case, any age bird!) But I'm the same, I love my birds I love caring for them, they have brought me up from the depths of despair, and literally turned my tears of pain into tears of laughter in a matter of minutes, I owe them my life not the other way around... but i love the pics!!! It's funny my original zebs, my first pair, i gave them a ladder, and they HATED It, they wouldn't go near it when i put it in the cage they flipped out, and they wouldn't even go to that side of the cage I even gave it some time because they are SO NOSY and need to check out EVERYTHING, but nope they were NOT having that ladder, so I gave up, put the ladder away figuring aw well, right it off, it's only a $2.39 write off. WE. as i said they are worth it to me.... but THEN, I tried it out in the Baby zebra cage (not really babies anymore, but you know, they're "the babies") and They LOVE the ladder, they love it so much i have two ladders in their flight now!!! lol I just thought of that from the pic of your zebs on the ladder... is that Mom and Daughter?
Anyhow, BEAUTIFUL babies Elana, and you do a wonderful job with them!

They are beautiful, Elana. Sweet little baby faces. My question isn't how can you take care of them. My question is how can you not open the cage and kiss them on their little fuzzy faces everyday?

Very cute! I love all my finches even my Zebras and Societies. I told my self i wouldnt get any zebras anymore because their so abundant and prolific and I wanted to focus on the more exotic finches and yet I still picked a pair up last week, lol!! i also got 3 other young zebras that the lady gave me with the pair.

Is that a fawn shaft-tail? I did not realize you had those guys as well. I always forget whether it is the shaft-tails or the Parson's that can be aggressive. I guess it is the Parson's?

I know what you mean. I am getting quite a few birds at this point, and keep telling myself that I will let the zebras dwindle away and not replace them. I just bought a full black-cheek hen hoping she will breed with my black cheek male! lol

Derk I'm excited to see what this pair produces. The male is a sf/ff and the female is a off possibly split ob/bb/ff. I am hoping to get the orange bodied zebras from breeding phaeos with the ob/bb/bf.
