Hi Neeraj.

Thanks for the info. I still think that the Diamonds, are some of the prettiest birds around. I wish they had some around here, as I absolutely love their looks.

The Cubans, are another species we don't really see around here. I thought they were Weavers (oops :-)) What is their song like? Is it similar to the Canary?

CackleJax & kOjAX enjoy a break now and then, so I just scoop up a few and let them hang out while I'm dealing with clients. Two males are truly the foster finches of the world.


Those two above look like their mother sooooooo much. And these are my most tame..

The "boys" dont chirp or anything, they just let me scoop them up and let their babies spend the day with me.

I cant say they have fledged........they are curious. Remember they were raised in an open cage, so.......maybe they are fledged.

But I do adore the company they keep me in the office.

Yep I work from home. However years ago when I raised wild bluejays, my manager took care of them while I worked. I showed her how to feed them and she was HOOKED. dont be afraid to bring them into your work place.

By the way Im in the market for you snazzzzy goudians. Just let me know how much since we live so close. I have a good handle rearing with the babies. And you know I have two males that will take over the rearing of the young. (tried and true)

PM me if you need to get rid of a few gouldians *wink
