Welcome to Zorro!
He does have a different song, doesn't he? You mentioned Nightingale, and there is a resemblance in the chirp he makes (a very sweet sound).

thanks Elana.
yes i teach my birds nightingale songs. to me the nightingale is the king of the song birds, nothing compares to it.
i have always taught my birds nightingale songs but i have worked a lot on finding which parts of the song can a canary sing. their vocal cords and throat are completely different. it took me awhile for this as it all comes with experimenting and time, lots of time. lol
this is one of my favorites that i had back home

and this is the king (the nightingale)

Welcome to the forum!! Your bird's song is just beautiful ! Now if you got a bigger cage it would be heavenly to see him spread his wings a little to make it even more enjoyable!

Elana just heard the Horned Lark and this guy only has a few songs and honestly there is nothing to compare with the nightingale.
here is the Horned Lark

the only bird that has a close song to the nightingale but still can not be compare to is the Wren
here it is the wren
