Zebra new mutation? - Flanks estriated.

Look to this zebra finch, it's flanks are pretty different from the standard. Has someone seen something similar?

Rick

Interesting. He's still young so probably doesn't have his full adult colors, but a few of those feathers don't look like juvenal feathers either. Maybe haroun can help you, if he's still around here.

Yes, the flanks color seems to have the same stripes as it's throat or it's tail, different from the standard that is brown or black with silver dots.
Lets wait for the comments of the other specialists.

Hi Rick Icearstorm
That pretty little BC cheek guy is from a sub mutation (if we could say) or an allel wich concerns the flank color in BC zebra
The BC bird can exist ib three categories
BC (bf):BKACK CHEEK with black flanck
BC(of):Black Chekk with orange flancks.
BC(bicf) black cheek. With bicolored flanks wich is the case here.
I'll make ASAp a topic concerning this particularity in BC
Btw is it a Black breast? Can we see its tail.

It's dad is a cfw and mom is a normal grey. From about 15 births from that couple it was the only BC. It's also a white face (has no tear mark). But what really called my attention was the flank.
It's 3-4 months old now. Follow the picture of it's tail:

Rick its parents are definitly spliters for BC and it is not a blackbreast from that tail , in the bc mutation the tear drop of corse exists but it's confused in the cheek.

And what about it's stiped flanks instead of solid color with small silver dots, have you seen anything similar?
I am thinking of inbreeding it with the cheek that generated it trying to reproduce that mutation, what is the suggestion?
