Gas fireplace

Post by Gouldian lover » Thu Nov 14, 2019 5:06 pm

We downsized this summer and our dozen Gouldians have adjusted well to their new place. They are in the living room by a nice window. There is also a gas fireplace in the room and before we use it this winter I wanted to know if the fumes are going to be harmful to the birds. (I know they are sensitive to odors and I don't know anyone who has them in a room with a fireplace.) Thank you, Karen

Only if the exhaust from the fireplace is vented to the outdoors. I would guess that it is, but it would be wise to check.
