Thanks Bill
I did, and they sold me a 3x4 piece, big enough for another breeder cage.
I'll be making that cage this week/weekend, so I can have it ready when I move the societies out of quarantine. The 3 societies + 2 fledgling zebras are kinda "cozy" in the quarantine cage, and would probably appreciate a bit more room.

Here is my current setup, with 3 cages, and space for a 4th cage on the top shelf. I even have the lamp ready for it.

The future cage #4 on the top shelf will be gouldians.
Top cage is for my penguin zebra
Middle cage is for my society fosters
Bottom cage is for my juvenilles; females on the left side and males on right side.
All 3 are slightly different as I learned different things when I made each and improved the next one I built.
You can see the difference in color between the daylight compact flourescent and the cool white, which looks redish in comparison.
One thing that I did learn is that it IS cheaper to buy one of those packs of four 30x18x18 cages than to make my own.
Even if the actual $ cost came was about the same, the work to make them is significant.
Just one example of the cost: I got the wire shelf at Goodwill. If I had to buy it new, it would have cost almost $100. With the stacking cages, you don't need a shelf. Just a platform to raise the bottom cage off the floor. The coroplast cages are not sturdy enough to stack.
Second example is all the small costs. Such as, I found that vegi ties don't work to secure the doors. The birds pick at it, and the paper shreds till you have a bare wire. Spring door clip at 75 cents each x 20 will cost $15.
And right now I'm stuck on cage #4. The plastic shop no longer carries coroplast, and I have to find another source. The sign shop that I got a piece to build cage #3 was more expensive than the plastic shop. So cage #4 and making the coroplast trays will likely drive the total cost more than a 4-pack of the 30x18x18 cages.
