Sorry Sally, Tom is one of a kind.... though I have thought about cloning him  I think there would be a market :D

The linoleum was laid today (not much progress... Tom is fitting me in between rental projects...but we got another one rented yesterday... I went to get the paper work signed and help Tom with last minute details...Of course I got distracted...Got Tom to trim some low limbs that were intruding into the walkway....... then I said throw those in the back of the truck for bird perches for the new aviary :D Tom said he new all along that was coming  )
The flooring is a good camafloged pattern....bird poop should not show up too much...I don't want to have to mop every day :-s

May 16....got the walls up, will hang the doors and cover with wire soon.
We got the second flush mount light hung with a toggle switch. Also Hubby took 4 garden trellises and built a frame and joined 4 together to make a neat sculpture. I will paint the base, add some greenery, branches, nest all around and inside. I just love it :D

Here I am trying to get a house for ME... and you with a house for FINCHES.

Too COOL! Seriously, a finch house. SO great!
Goulds, Owls, Gold Breasts, Stars, Zebras, Societies
An obscene number of chicks and eggs
And an incredibly rare St. Goldena Breast finch
Anyone want some finches???

Candace!

What a lucky woman! :) I would love to see pictures of your progress.

We built a bird house and it is at the finishing stage.

Misty

What part of Florida are you from? I'm from the St. Petersburg - Seminole area.

I love looking at your photos....you really have a vision here building the aviaries. It will be fun to see your BirdHouse as it progresses!

Better put a big lock on the door....some of us just might be tempted to come visit and maybe borrow some of your birds...hehe!

You should save one room for a "Bird & Breakfast" so we can come stay overnight with the birds...that would be so cool! I would like to make a reservation for next February please!

He He....too funny....but I like it .. Bird and Breakfast, though I would feel guilty about serving scrambled eggs for the breakast
But this could be a way to get some money to cover the seed feed bill :-k

Hubby just informed me He and his Handyman will be back working on the aviary tommorrow  I am so excited...but then again it doesn't take much for me, just a little welded wire and some boards and a dream O:)

Looks beautiful so far! I can't believe the transformation already!
I love the linoleum style, should really make cleaning a breeze.

Can't wait to see how it continues to evolve! :P
