Is that the female - it looks very much like my male but my guy's bib is longer (I think).
How about the mate of that one - is it a normal grey?

Liz, I just got to reading this post, congrats.

You do realize that now we will have to work out an egg exchange

I still have my cream female that doesn't have a mate yet
My regulars have been working on a new clutch.

At least he has

I would love to do an egg exchange with you Janine - gouldies AND shafts now!
Glad to hear your originals are re-working the nest!

Sounds like you guys are going to have some fun swapping eggs and bloodlines. That is awesome. How far apart are you 2 in Canada?

I think to be on the safe side (for you) the goulds will have to wait until I see something come out of the nest.

The shaftail's though have already proven themselves , whenever your ready give me a shout.

We live about 6 hours apart, I figure that if we ship either by purolator or express post we should be able to get a next day delivery.

Now it's my turn to say the Shaftails on my end will have to wait, a) until they are out of quarantine and b) until I have them proven.
We have lots of time though!

Wow that's cool! I've no idea about Shaft Tail genetics. How do you get a male - split to cream?

Good looking pair Liz.

Shouldn't be long and he'll start singing to her.
