Cuban finches!!

I picked up a pair of Cuban Finches this morning. I've been looking for a pair for a little while now. Can't believe how beautiful his song is! =D> I think their feathers look a little rough but they are super active and sing constantly. I'm positive they will be fine. :mrgreen:

Liz you are crazy! How do you afford all of these birdies? You must be one of those secret billionaires that no one knows about. :lol:

They are beautiful, I'm sure under your care they will become gorgeous cubans. I would love to hear a clip of the male's song if you don't mind taking a video of it. I've never heard it before.

They are very lovely! The hen looks to be molting, but she will look better in no time. Congratulations!!

Just seen an Ad over here for two pairs of them at £70 pair...wish I was ready to buy birds I would have got them.A few weeks yet before I'm ready.

I get lucky at finding birds at decent prices, otherwise there would be no way I could afford them.

Yep that would have been a really, really good price, PoohBear! I just paid £96 for this pair. The petstores and importers want £160 for a pair around here.

New song additions are always nice. It is a lovely song. Cobgrats on your newbies and I know they will look fabulous in no time.... though they don't look bad to me :D

Thanks Candace! I don't think they look particularly 'awful' now just a few feathers bent, etc; that could be due to them having been in a smaller cage than even their quarantine cage. But I do think he is one happy-go-lucky fella due to him singing so much even though he's just been moved 100kms. And she seems to sing a bit too! :D =D>

Thank you Cindy. I just can't get over that he sings so much within second of getting into the quarantine cage! None of my others did that so soon. =D> I think his song is quite unique too. I like it! :D
