Hi Sally,

Yes, there are 4 skylights in there  I love the way the birds bask in the sun so it offered 4 more areas for sun to get in for them. Plus the area where this building is surrounded in trees so it keeps the sun filtered during the warmer months but with the sun high in the sky it gets in thru those skylights.

Everyone thank you :D

Because of our very cold weather this morning I waited - I put two pairs in there - Grenadiers and Blue Caps. Tomorrow I will work on catching more...

Taking pictures is kind of hard thru the bars :? So I opened the door and they just got further away and hid behind the leaves...

Here are some pictures of the mixed flights and my babies that come straight to the wire which is always right in front of my nose

These pictures were taken thru the wire - here are two in flight

In this picture notice the tiny little Goldbreast next to the Grenadier hen - they are buddies

And these two GOOBERS!!! They were acting like Roosters - puffing their chest feathers out and holding their heads back like they were going to strike something. I had a good laugh at these two  The Blue male is and has been one of my favorite since he left the nest. I was so hoping he was a girl but no such luck. :D
