Thank you Hilary - no it doesn't get quite like that inside the cages. :^o Sometimes on the floors if I don't vacuum religiously every week as the seed hulls can scatter out all sides of the cages. #-o

Yes it's an open canary nest for the first, second and this the third and final clutch. The second clutch babies are still in the cage with them. I'll have to move them out just before the next clutch hatches. I think 8 Green Singers is a bit much for 30x18x18 breeding cages - we'll see.

Janine - I change the newspaper weekly for all finches. If I think the sitters will stand it, I'll do it while they are sitting or if I think they may abandon - I skip a week. These Green Singers are very good about it. =D>
