Do you just clip the greens and put them in? Do you rinse it first?

They pull up really easy. I just pull them out of the ground and rinse them off!

Depending on your yard and the neighborhood.
But I would rinse it like I rinse all my green veggies that the birds get.

I would also say to be careful for those who just grab the chickweed from anywhere. Make sure the garden/yard wasnt spray with fertilizer/pesticides etc.

That's absolutely true, but if you think about it, nothing in the grocery store for human consumption is free from pesticides/fertilizers unless it is certified organic. :!:
