How to get zebra finches to stop eating there eggs?

You know Mands another Aussie member also feeds bread soaked in milk to her birds. I think this must be a fairly common practice in Australia.

I know that I've mixed small amounts of yogurt into handfeeding formula for hookbills as well per the avian vet we worked with at the pet store.

Yogurt's benefit is two fold: 1) high protein and minerals minus the high lactose content of milk, 2) probiotic (live culture bacteria). Some recommend it over things like Bene-bac. I mixed some in with handfeeding formula and I think it did my finches well.
