Hi again, the aviary is now relined nice and tight with netting.

The revamped aviary now has a new little flock of six finches - one of which is the last remaining girl from the original first flock of 13 birds that three snakes almost completely wiped out! Perhaps I will have the joy of seeing some babies again soon. And hopefully with this new netting in place, no snake is getting in or out!!!

Here are some pictures taken today:

They look so adorable! Few of them looks like my zebras :) by the way what kind of plants using? Is it fake one or real ones? I want to get some for my zebbies but doesn't know which ones better, since I heard people said some will cause them injury especially the fake one with the sharp - point edges root area.

All branches are real, cut from trees in my backyard. I'm not really attracted to the idea of using fake stuff, coz it looks too....well, fake. LOL.

Hi sorry for delay to reply since I was busy all week lol.
Oh I see your real plants looks great! I am still observing the plants and branches which I can use for my aviary, but you know even it's warm outside these weeks but a lot of trees still no leaves but only with branches, which hard for me to identify the plants since I wanna make sure the plants or branches are safe for my finches:/
In your opinions, do you think these 2 pics should be manzanita plant? Both are from same tree, I just picked the flower bud with leaves from the tree so you can see it better! :) thanks
