Alas, the few gouldians at the fair sold out within the first few minutes. The fair was a bit of a circus this time, really over-crowded with patrons; plus, there were far more parrots than finches, which is a reversal of the usual pattern.

Maybe I will go back to zebras. I find them quite fun and undemanding, as well as less in demand.
