Sorry hilljack...when I seen "upstate" I was thinking about the negativity of the thread and it took all my self control to stop me from posting "no, just a bit bummed out"...ok, I will get my hat & coat on the way out

The only reason I chuckled at it was because hilljack also changed the topic, which I thought was quite funny.

Anyhow, looks like I backed atarasi and I was dropped like yesterday's paper, thanks for that.

So from now on I'm keeping my opinions to myself. Hope this still falls within the scope of the topic, before that williep character starts quoting the rule book again!

But I really NEED yesterday's paper! What do you think is lining all my bird cages?!

Seriously though, I find this an interesting thread - even when it goes 'off topic'. 8)

Thanks Willie for seeing my point.

I sorta forgot all about this post. I wasn't trying to come across as negative, but just as a courtesy to all.
A lot of these conversations get all mixed up and I've missed some important points myself.

James said, "when you are face to face how often does the conversation stay on track? I find that as the conversation progresses the topic changes more often than not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still think it's different when it's only 2 people. Change in topics makes things interesting and it's a natural course of most any conversation between 2 people is going to go. At least if I'm talking with a friend of mine and he sidesteps my question, I can ask it again because I'm right there, not revisiting the coffee shop hours or days later to pick up where we left off.

Anyway, it was just a small gripe and to be honest, only directed to a few people.
