Sorry to hear that. Yes, it is a problem we have with PF's. I tend to separate my lot to force a moult over August/Sept and reintroduce late October for breeding in November only. Losses are huge over late winter and spring because they leave the nest early.
Hope with the improving weather, breeding will improve too.
