Kes, this sounds like a tv commercial selling vinegar. LOL
But to be honest, with all of this talk, i am considering adding some to the water for my finches.

An obscene number of chicks and eggs
And an incredibly rare St. Goldena Breast finch

can everyone that tries this report back in a week or so and let me know how it goes.
I want to know what pros/cons you have noticed over a week of using it. Specifically feather shine, if the birds seem happier, etc.

Wow, I went searching for where I read about using apple cider vinegar in the water, and there are so many different opinions! Many of them suggest only using it about twice a week, others suggest using a lot more or less--don't know how I started using it on a daily basis, just kind of fell into it.
I think I am going to cut back a bit, and do the apple cider vinegar thing on my old schedule:
1 Tbs. per gallon of water - twice a week (in both drinking and bath water).
3 Purple Grenadiers, 1 Goldbreast + 1 cat.
