My aviary

Hubby told me this weekend that he wants to do another one! I was so shocked I didn't know what to say. It took me 4 years to get this one built. How fickle even they can be....

What are you waiting for? Strike while the iron is hot........get going and buy the wood and wire this instant

Hubby lazy? Why didn't I think of that?!?!?! We got the rabbits when we moved into the new home and lo and behold if they didn't get a running cage with a week!

He is thinking that if he builds another aviary that I will do away with ALL the cages. That just isn't gonna happen. I like knowing who is who's parent and so forth.

He isn't much into the breeding of the birds, but does love to watch them. I guess that is a start.

I was thinking..... maybe the next aviary should be outside. We do have room right next to our garage. The only thing is I wasn't here last summer to know what kind of other animals might be out there to hurt my birds. This is where my issue is. I am thinking inside is the better bet so I can be assured of no rodents or such like them.

My hubby also thought that by building the aviary we would be droping the number of cages......didn't happen Instead we ended up with a few more. I would like for him to build another aviary, just don't know where to put it yet.
