I have never seen flight cages so long! They are awesome - as is your set up! May I ask where you found those?

One I found locally it is just 8 inches shrter in height than the others and came w/a rolling stand. The otheres that are 3 ft high I tried to get shippen in from California but the shipping for each was over $100 dollars each so I got creative and took the sides off two 30 long x 18 deep x 36 high cages and put them together.
Some of my other birds are in 2 ~ 18 inch high cages joined together to make a long flight since they do not use the height as much.

That's what I thought! It looks great! I always keep my eyes open for good flight cages, but I have my cages stacked, so I am not interested it TALL cages, but rather LONG ones! This is a great idea and one I will copy, if you don't mind!cindy wrote:I got creative and took the sides off two 30 long x 18 deep x 36 high cages and put them together.

Sharing is good! The longer length comes out to 5ft in length, the birds really like flying the length of it. The shaftail on the other hand love the height and the length, flying patterns back and forth and under and over branches.
