Thanks everyone,

She is a great little hen.
Eats cuttle fish bone like there's no tommorow.

The water is on one side of the cage
and the cuttle fish bone is on the other.

Bite of cuttle bone, over to the water and have a drink,
then back to the cuttle bone for a bite.
Now more water and so on.

She will do it like ten times.
It's funny to watch her. =D>

She has been a busy girl!
Third egg today!
I am not going take another picture today.
Not until she is done laying.
Don't need to bother her.

Each hen is different, she can have four to eight eggs.
But, being her first time, probably five only.

She is a little piggy!
Always eating, egg food, water, cuttle bone,
water, seeds, water, gravel, water, more egg food,
more water and so on!
She takes chunks out of the cuttle bone, not bites, but chunks!

Fingers crossed, she will be a good sitter and a good momma!

Fourth egg today!
The hen is on the nest,
so that may be the last egg.
That's good for first timers.

Here is a pair of the clutch of eggs so far.
I think she will have at least one more.
She's on that cuttle bone, like a pit bull on a steak!

Thank you Trish,

The nest box is a parakeet box made out of plastic.
It comes apart for easy cleaning.
It has two sliding doors, one clear and one dark.

As far as I can tell she has only four eggs and has started to sit.
She is in the box right now and would not come out for egg food.
