what seeds to order
Does anyone know which seeds besides the white millet that society finches will definitely eat? I would like to order seeds that I can buy separately and make up my own mix. My problem is that I don't know what after the white millet to have in the mix and how much of each kind. They don't seem to eat any of the tiny little red seeds, and besides the white millet I'm not sure what else they are eating. What I do know is that too much is being wasted. If someone could please help me out , that would be great!

You can try a parakeet mix...they may prefer the larger seeds in it.

Your own mix?...Panicum millet...White millet...Canary seed.Put seperate pots in and see which they go for...Not more than 20% canary though as it's very oil rich...good in cold weather though.
