A question about Siberian Goldfinches

Post by haworthia » Thu Feb 17, 2011 9:51 am

Hello everybody.

I keep a Siberian Goldfinch (C.c major). It is the only blacked-headed subspecies available in my country. I never see any other blacked-headed subspecies except on the internet.

Could anyone advise me the difference between the Siberian Goldfinches and other subspecies (such as C.c carduelis, the nominate subspecies) on size, colours, songs, or any other characters?

Thank you so much.
2 goldfinches, 1 siskin, 1 greenfinch, 1 bullfinch, 3 spice, 1 sparrow, several buntings, zerba and societies
