Hello!
I am looking at converting an armoire into a flight cage. (I had previously done so with an old bakery case and it turned out nicely, but just isn't large enough).
The dimensions will be 36" W/18" Deep/45" H. I am wondering how many birds I could safely fit in there and what breeds/combinations. I am particularly interested in Gouldians, owls and societies. I am not looking to breed but won't mind if it "happens."
Thanks in advance!
Gina

Re: How many and what breeds?
If you don't mind them breeding, then I would go with just one pair of either Gouldians or Owls. This would give them a nice spacious cage with room for babies. If you put more than one pair in this space, you run into the problems of squabbling, interfering with each other's nests, etc.
