Privet and other bushy weeds in Aviary

Post by zhavener » Sun May 01, 2011 10:17 pm

Does anyone else use Privet or other bushy/ thick stemmed weeds in their aviary? I have been using privet branches for perches and greenery for almost a year now with great success. I have a LARGE old limb in my aviary that I have drilled close to 30 different sized holes into that allows me to change perch positions, and add or subtract cover where needed just by inserting the clippings from the weekends yard work into various holes. Some holes are 3/16" and they get larger all the way to 3/8" to hold different sized clippings or branches. I will try to take some pictures if anyone is interested but I am currently having camera troubles....."lens error, please restart camera" #-o
